Overview
Key stage 4 (KS4) caters for 14-16 years old (year 10 and 11). Students choose a minimum of 7 subjects to study for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum; a two-year programme of study culminating in a series of exams that lead to internationally recognized qualifications.
Students select subjects in term III of year 9 and the selection include a minimum of 3 compulsory subjects and a number of optional subjects. Students are encouraged to study a broad range of subjects, enabling a wide choice of career.
Examinations taken at the end of year 11 are recognized across the world and are of considerable interest to university admissions officers.
A personalized approach allows pupils to choose subjects that best fit their strengths and career hopes. Throughout the IGCSE course, the pupils are supported by expert staff and offered a range of extra-curricular activities designed to develop personal skills.
